Finance OS — Personal Finance Platform
This app is a personal finance tool. It stores your financial data (accounts, transactions, loans, investments, insurance) in its own database and does not sell or share that data with third parties for advertising or any other purpose.
Finance OS uses Google Sign-In for authentication. We receive your Google account email, name, and profile picture to create and identify your account. We do not access your Google Drive, Calendar, or contacts through sign-in.
If you choose to connect Gmail, Finance OS may read financial emails you authorize (such as bank, loan, credit card, or investment statement emails) to help import and organize your information. Gmail access is read-only, optional, used only while you actively use import features, and can be disconnected at any time.
When you import a statement, Finance OS first parses it on our own server. If you enable AI-assisted parsing in Profile and local parsing fails, only transaction-line text (date, description, amount) may be sent to OpenAI — never account numbers, names, addresses, or PDF files.
What is never sent to OpenAI:
Accounts, transactions, loans, goals, investments, insurance, and tax features run on this application's own server and database. Manual data entry is always available — Gmail and AI parsing are optional.
